The most exceptional professional I have ever worked with. We first contacted Keiko about 18 months ago, when we were trying to navigate the enormous and complicated process of moving our family from the UK to Japan. Since then, she has helped us with visas, company registration, housing, immigration procedures, renewals and countless other pieces of Japanese administration that I simply would not have known how to navigate on my own. And believe me, there have been a LOT of hurdles, setbacks, complications and unexpected problems along the way. Keiko has been there for every single one of them.

She is exceptionally competent, incredibly meticulous, extraordinarily responsive and unbelievably reliable. Her attention to detail is second to none. But what makes her so special is that she doesn’t simply do what is technically required and then consider the job finished. She genuinely cares the needs of her clients.

She will go above and beyond every single time to make life easier for you. She thinks ahead, finds solutions, helps you jump through the next hoop and works out how to overcome the next problem. Whenever something has gone wrong or we have hit another unexpected obstacle, Keiko has been calm, reassuring and already thinking about what we can do next. And that has meant an enormous amount to me.

I am a worrier and I have never found it particularly easy to completely trust professionals with important things. I am used to checking everything myself, wondering if something has been missed and chasing people for answers. With Keiko, for the first time, I genuinely didn’t have to worry. Her meticulousness is extraordinary. I knew that she had thought of things I hadn’t thought of, checked things I hadn’t checked and was watching out for problems before they became problems. She has never once let me down, made me feel like I was being difficult or made me anxious when something went wrong. Quite the opposite, she has always made me feel that we are in safe hands. And that is why, even though we are now living in Japan, we continue to have Keiko support our family. I genuinely don’t think we could have done this without Keiko.

But I also want to say something about who Keiko is, because please don’t read all of this and imagine some terrifying, stern, ultra-serious work-work-work workaholic sitting behind a desk surrounded by paperwork! 😅 She is anything but. Keiko is funny, warm, gentle, kind, hilarious and incredibly sincere. She has such a lovely personality and is genuinely humble. She cares deeply about the people she works with, and that comes through in everything she does.

Keiko is truly special. You will never feel like you are simply another client or another piece of work on her desk. She has exceeded my expectations at every stage of our journey. If you are looking for an administrative scrivener, I would wholeheartedly recommend Keiko.

Keiko-san helped me with the notarization and apostille of a foreign-language document, clarifying the process to me, as well as supporting me with the setting up of the notarization appointment. As a non-native, such legal and bureaucratic processes are stressful, as my Japanese is definitely not up to speed with the specific legal terms and concepts.
